Based in south East England, Interlope is a small photography formed of Fleur Alston, Ali Farmer And Elin Karlsson. Brought together through their experience whilst studying at university of the creative arts and their passion for the photographic medium. The group draws from their personal experiences, from exhibiting internationally, project managing curatorial project to furthering their education, in order to come together to produce high quality and conceptual work.
Interlope's work have been an exploration of a landscape through an intervention, mainly been walks, in a bid to challenge the representation of a place and time. Taking inspiration from the cultural heritage as an understanding of the landscape. The works become a survey of the natural environment paying particular attention to colour, shape and form.
They also share an interest in archives and experimenting with curatorial practices, in order to challenge the relationships and perceptions of photography.
